| Cementos Moctezuma lays the Foundation stone in its new industrial plant at Apazapan |
As of past May 9, the municipality of Apazapan, Veracruz, in presence of Mr. Fidel Herrera Beltrán, Constitutional Governor for the Sate of Veracruz and of Mr. Antonio Taracena Sosa, Managing Director to Corporación Moctezuma, the foundation stone of the Industrial Plant at Apazapan was laid.

Concretos Lacosa and Cementos Moctezuma boost creativity with this type of initiatives and support the consciousness-raising regarding care for the environment.
After a broad convocation and creating a great interest among Mexican plastic artists, architects, engineers and students, in the event carried out as of April 17 at the Vive Cuervo Salon (formerly Salón 21), it was presented the winning sculpture of Concretarte, the Moctezuma Sculpture Contest, in it’s first edition.

| Cementos Moctezuma, with the support from its distributors, delivers assistance to the State of Tabasco |
Past November 20th this year, Cementos Moctezuma and its distributors delivered to Asociación Gilberto A. C., in Villahermosa, Tabasco, over 20 tons of special assistance thanks to the support from its distributors.
Donated goods consisted of diapers, cookies, tuna, canned beans and bottled water. These provisions departed from Mexico City in a trailer furnished by another of our distributors. Donations were delivered to the In-kind Donation Center of the afore-cited Asociación Gilberto, located at the Technological University of Tabasco (Universidad Tecnológica de Tabasco) (UTT, Spanish Acronym).

This achievement supports this firm’s philosophy and is a consequence of the significant state-of-the-art environmental investments.
In order to protect the environment and due to the joint working efforts of all its personnel, Cementos Moctezuma received the Clean Industry Certificate [Certifcado de Industria Limpia] for its cement producing plants which is granted by the Mexican Federal Environment Protection Attorneyship [Procuraduría Federal de Protección al Ambiente (PROFEPA)].
